Three Easy and Effortless Hairstyles
Have you ever woken up in the morning, looked in the mirror and your hair looks like its been blow dried by the blow dry gods themselves? Well neither have we. So we’re showing you three effortless and cute hairstyles that you can rock to work, dinner, or an afternoon brunch. All you’re going to need are some elastic bands, a hairbrush and a bunch of bobby pins, that’s literally it. I call the first look two twists and done, because that’s really all that there is to this hairstyle. Let’s start from the first step. Here’s a picture of Anna’s two-day-old hair. The older the hair, the better the hold, so these hairstyles are perfect for the second or third day hair that just needs a little picker upper.
Anna had already waved her hair previously but these looks will look good on straight and curly hair. The second pic is where we added Biosilk Silk Therapy Original Cure, 12 oz this stuff works wonders and as you can see leaves the hair looking silkier and healthier than before. So, once you have the nice base you can start with the hairstyle. First you want to put the middle section of your crown into a low pony. Leave the sides of your hair out, these sections will be used later.
Then make a gap in the middle with your fingers and slide the ponytail through that gap. This is what I like to call the twist.
You should get something that looks like this.
Now, this is a little too tight for our liking, so we just loosened the strands from the top. Just hold the base of the pony and pull slightly outward, so as to fluff out the hair and bring back volume.
Now bring the rest of the hair from both sides of that pony and tie them again into another low ponytail. Repeat the same twist step with this pony and again fluff out the hair to your liking.
After this step you’re pretty much done. We just wrapped the band with a section of hair and bobbypinned it down, so the black of the band doesn’t show. There you have it, with just two twists and some fluffing out you have Pinterest worthy hair!
The second hairstyle just adds on to this style. For this hairstyle, all you need to do is braid the remaining of your hair. Again, fluff out the braid by slightly pulling the hair out. Then just tie the bottom with an elastic and again wrap the hair around it.
This last look which happens to be my favorite adds on to the first and second hairstyles. After you have braided the hair just wrap it around into a low bun. Bobbypin all around the bun until it feels secure and that’s it! You’re all done!
We’d love to know how these turned out for you! Let us know in the comments!
